My Review on Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Nail Polish ‘Illusion’:
Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Nail Polish ‘Illusion’ comes in a rectangle bottle alike to the regular absolute nail polishes. The rectangle cap has Lakme embossed on it with the limited edition sticker and the color name is mentioned at the bottom. Honestly, I believe that the round handle gives a better grip than the rectangle one.
The brush is dense and provides an even, non-streaky application with a breeze. The formula is smoothly flowing with just the correct consistency and spread evenly. Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Nail Polish ‘Illusion’ is quite sheer and requires at least 3 coats for a complete opaque finish. I’ve used only 2 coats in the pictures above.
Illusion is a beautiful metallic silver colour with very fine and dense purple + green shimmer particles. The colors play with lights and as the name suggest, it is an Illusion of shades. The combination of silver with purple shimmers is very unique and versatile for both day and evening wear.
The shimmer particle doesn’t affect the smooth finish and neither do they feel coarse. Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Nail Polish ‘Illusion’ lasted on me for over 5 days without a top coat. I noticed slight chipping on the tip and minor fading after that. I believe that it would last intact for more than a week with a nice top coat. I didn’t face any issue with the drying time either, it dried pretty quickly.
Lakme Absolute Color Illusion Nail Polish ‘Illusion’ is priced at 200 INR.
