Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush – Review

I love MAC 224 brush & always wanted to try it’s infamous twin Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush. Now that I’ve been using it for a while, it’s time to share my thoughts with you all.

Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush:

This soft and fluffy brush has a rounded tip which is specifically designed for you to easily apply and blend colour makeup to the crease of the eye. Using just the tips to apply color, sweep back and forth through the crease for a diffused and blended finish.

Unique Feature: Soft and fluffy rounded tip
Function: Soft, blended crease
Recommended Use: Using just the tip to apply color, sweep back and forth through the crease for a diffused and blended finish.

My Review on Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush:

Like I stated above, I love MAC 224 & it is a must have for me. I use it for blending, concealing, highlighting, contouring & a lot more. When I got my hands on Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush, I couldn’t help but compare them both.

Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush look almost similar to the MAC 224 but it is just a tad bit longer. The bristles are soft, fluffy & tapered. However, Sigma E40 is not as dense or structured as MAC 224 which really is why I love MAC so much.  It does shed occasionally while washing, just like any brushes out there.

Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush does a fantastic job in blending the colors. It is also as versatile as the MAC 224.  Since it isn’t that dense, I don’t use it to apply concealers but apart from that, it works beautifully for highlighting & contouring. It delivers a precise & natural finish.

[box type=”shadow” ]Overall, it really makes a great dupe of MAC 224. If you can’t afford MAC brush, I highly recommend this dupe by Sigma. It’s versatile, affordable & definitely a MUST HAVE![/box]

Sigma E40 Tapered Blending Brush is priced at $14 or INR 1204 and can be bought online from Luxola.com.
