WELLA SP LUXEOIL KERATIN RESTORE TREATMENT – REVIEW

I am very particular when it comes to my skin care routine and I so wish I could say the same about my hair. I am a twice-a-week-shampoo and once-a-month-hair-oil kind of girl. So when Wella offered me to experience their new System Professionals LuxeOil Keratin Restore treatment, I couldn’t say anything but YES!

My Review on Wella SP LuxeOil Keratin Restore Treatment:

My appointment was booked at Placid Salon in Bandra and I reached on time. Even though it was a pre booked appointment, waiting for 15 mins was a disappointment. Fifteen minutes later, I was greeted by a hair expert who escorted me to different room. It reminded me of a spa room with dim lights, burning candles, aromatic fragrance and soft music.

She started by combing my hair using a ‘high frequency comb’ to increase the circulation of blood in my head. After which, she washed my hair using SP LuxeOil Keratin Protect Shampoo. I can’t describe in words how amazing it smells!

After cleaning my hair, I was taken back to the same room. The therapist towel dried my hair and applied a mixture of SP LuxeOil Keratin Restore Mask + SP LuxeOil Reconstructive Elixir. She made sections in my hair and applied an even layer throughout my hair minus the roots.

I was then put under a giant steam machine for 20 good minutes. I don’t like steamers and they make me super uncomfortable. However, she said it is necessary for the mask to penetrate deep inside my roots to work its magic! After 20 mins, the therapist made me indulge in a soothing head massage which made me almost fall off to sleep.

After waking up the relaxing massage, she washed my hair again to remove the mask. My tresses were then covered with SP LuxeOil Reconstructive Elixir. The therapist didn’t blow dry my hair as she said it would be like ‘damaging the restored hair’ again. I still insisted to blow dry my bangs as they look weird otherwise.

After the session, I could see and feel a drastic difference in my hair. My usual towel dry hair is dry & frizzy but post treatment, they felt smooth, silky and straight. I couldn’t stop running my fingers through my hair and wished it could stay like this forever. Unfortunately, they came back to its normal state after 2 washes.

[box type=”shadow” ]Overall, it is a luxurious pampering treatment for your dull, dry & damaged hair. Your hair gets a luxurious oil-infused treatments which deliver a deep-restoring and light-weight effect on your hair, protecting hair keratin and transforming hair from inside out. For the ultimate pampering experience, this 60 minute indulgence offers therapeutic massage and steam, in addition to the oil-infused deep-restoring treatment. I just wished the effect could have lasted longer!

Wella SP LuxeOil Keratin Restore Treatment is priced at 2600 INR. [/box]
