My combination skin has been acting really weird lately. It gets super oily in summer and super dry in winters. I was using Clean and Clean which worked wonders for me in Summers but did the exact opposite in winters. It made my skin dry and flaky. 🙁 I had to switch but was worried about breaking out as it takes some time for my skin to adjust with new face washes. My colleague suggested me to try L’Oreal Pearl Perfect Relighting Whitening Facial Foam and I thought of giving it a try.
Its been over a month that I have been using this face wash so thought of sharing my experience with it. L’Oreal Pearl Perfect Re-Lighting Whitening Facial Foam comes in two variants, 50g and 100g for 199 and 350 respectively. I went with the 100g which can be used by my entire family.
L’Oreal Pearl Perfect Relighting Whitening Facial Foam comes in a Pearl White tube with Grey cap attached with fonts printed in Gold and Blue. I usually don’t like face wash with overwhelming smell but this baby didn’t disappoint me with its soft & fresh fragrance. The cream based facial foam is Pearl White in color and the texture feels like a very thick cream but feels soft and creamy when applied on the skin. It is easy to rinse off and doesn’t take a lot of effort or water. 😉
A little goes a long way with L’Oreal Pearl Perfect Relighting Whitening Facial Foam. A tiny amount of the product helped to clear my skin of all impurities, leaving the skin soft & smooth. No dry or flaky skin anymore. In spite of it being a cream face wash, it didn’t cause me any breakouts. It claims to remove the makeup which is true to some extent but not entirely, especially if you are using waterproof makeup. It also claims to have Vitamin C and block the Melanin which brightens the complexion day after day which I is totally False ! Even though it made my skin clean and soft, I didn’t notice any change in my complexion at all.

- Cream based face wash.
- It made my skin soft and smooth.
- Didn’t cause any breakout.
- A little goes a long way.
- Foams well and easy to rinse off.
- It is priced decently and comes in 2 variants.
- Dermatologically tested
- Removes makeup to an extent.
Why I didn’t like it ?
- I didn’t see any whitening, brightening or lightening of skin.
- Does not remove makeup completely.
- L’Oreal test on animals.
Overall, I think its a nice face wash for winter and quite well priced being a L’Oreal brand. Use it only if you are looking to make your skin soft and smooth.
