MAC Cleanse Off Oil – Review

Taking off makeup is the last and the most important step in everyone’s my routine. I wear at least 18-20 products on my face everyday and taking them out used to be a chore sometime. Then I met, MAC cleanse off oil. This is the best cleanser I’ve used by far and undoubtedly my HG makeup remover.

MAC Cleanse Off Oil :

An industry-strength oil-based makeup remover that’s gentle on the skin. Botanically formulated with oils of olive fruit, evening primrose and jojoba seed and absolutely 100 percent mineral-oil free. Massages onto the skin to loosen all makeup, including waterproof mascara. Emulsifies into a lotion-type liquid with water: rinses off easily, no tissues required – and no residue! My Review :

I started breaking out 3 days after I joined MAC. Makeup wasn’t the cause of breakout but not removing it properly was. A fellow artist suggested me to try MAC Cleanse Off Oil and I was shocked. Having combination skin made me really think 100 times before trying an oil based cleanser but after trying it, I haven’t looked back.

MAC Cleanse Off Oil comes in a long transparent plastic bottle with black pump dispenser. The dispenser is amazing and always removes just the right amount of cleanse off oil. Two pumps and I am sorted for my entire face. Since I just require 2 – 3 drops everyday hence I’ve not even finished half of the bottle in 2 months now.

MAC Cleanse Off Oil is a mineral oil-free makeup remover designed to remove face, lip and eye makeup including waterproof mascara / makeup. It contains several essential oils like jojoba, evening primrose, olive, rose hip, etc. The texture of the Cleanse Off Oil is very light & thin minus any greasiness. It has a mild fragrance which I think is really nice and fresh.

I take two pumps of oil and massage it all over my face, rinsing it off with lukewarm water. It removes every speck of makeup on my face, even the most stubborn waterproof makeup you can ever imagine without leaving any oil residue. It leaves my skin clean and soft w/o stripping off natural oils. No breakouts or irritation to speak of. *touch wood* When I massage it around my eyes, it makes them cloudy and blur my vision for a while which I believe is the ONLY con with this amazing product.

Apart from that, I absolutely love, love, love MAC Cleanse Off Oil. I have been using this for 2 months now and I think it will be a staple in my skin care routine. 🙂 HIGHLY RECOMMEND !
