Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Daily Multi-Function Sunblock SPF 70 PA+++ – Review.

My skin is like a magnet to tan and a good sunblock is an essential beauty product for me, throughout the year. Its is also very important to choose the right sunblock for the ultimate protection. I think I have found one, finally !

My Review :

OK ! Before we proceed ahead, let me remind you a few basics I keep in mind while choosing the correct Sunblock. I always prefer a Sun Block over Sunscreen. The higher the SPF, the better. Oh ! the PA+++ is a cherry on the top. If you are not aware of the difference between the Sunscreen, Sunblock and PA+++, I will do a separate post about the same.

Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Daily Multi-Function Sunblock SPF 70 PA+++ comes in a bright orange box with all the required information. Inside the box, the tube is of the same orange color with a flip cap to open. I find the packaging very handy and easy to carry around. The sunblock has a mild citrus-y fragrance which is quite refreshing !

The texture of the sunblock is neither to thick or runny.. It blends in seamlessly unlike some other Sunblocks in the market. I have read a couple of reviews where people have complained about the whitish cast on the face. Its does look a bit whitish while applying but within minutes of blending, gets absorbed into the skin completely. No whitish cast AT ALL.

Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Daily Multi-Function Sunblock SPF looks like a tinted moisturizer and works just same. It helps in covering minor imperfections and evens out my skin tone. Since its supposed to be Multi-Function, it save me from layer my face with multiple products. Its lightweight, keeps my skin moisturized without feeling greasy. Since its Oil-free, it had kept my acne away. I haven’t noticed any lightening effect on my face but its has definitely prevented me from getting tanned.

Final words ? I love this Sunblock ! It keeps my skin looking fresh for hours while preventing from the thousands damage caused by Sun. It is also Ayurvedic with Avocado and Carrot as main ingredients which makes me love it even more. 🙂
