VLCC Gold Facial Kit : Review.
Hello Everyone,
Its been ages since I had a nice face massage at a parlour. I had been too busy these days with work. I leave to work at 9 and come back at 9. By the time I come back from work almost all the parlours are closed. Now you would ask why don’t I go on Sunday ? Well, to be honest I am too lazy to go out on Sunday and spend hours waiting for my turn in a salon. Ok, so back to the topic, I had been to a Supermarket with my brother yesterday. He wanted to buy something and I was luring at the cosmetic dept where my eyes fell on VLCC Gold Facial Kit and I got it without a second thought because its all natural and herbal and won’t damage my skin and I so wanted to give it a try. So here is what I think about it :
Product Description : The VLCC Gold Facial with 24 carat pure gold, gives a natural luster and youthful radiance to the skin. It retains moisture in the skin as well as increases skin flexibility and smoothness.
Key ingredients: Extracts of Aloe vera,Sandalwood,Raisin & Turmeric.Gold Oxide,Xanthan gum,dimethicone,Triclosan.
Direction: As per the instructions, I massaged it for 5 mins on wet face and then cleaned it with water.
This is my favourite part of the package. The scrub looks and smeels amazing. The micro beads does an amazing job. It’s not very harsh on the skin and it made my skin look brighter and cleaner.
Key Ingredients: Extracts of Aloe vera, sandalwood,Lemon Peel,Turmeric,Gold leaf,Triclosan.
Direction : Apply a thin layer all over face and peel off the mask once it dries.
It is supposed to eliminates dead surface cells enabling underlying new cells to reach the surface. It nourishes the skin tissues and helps rebuild weakened areas by maintaining skin’d pH balance. I am not a big fan of Peel of Masks. The consistency is extremely thick and it becomes difficult to apply. It dried in like 5 mins but it took me 20 mins to peel it out of my face and I was in tears when it was done. It PAINS a lot, probably because I am not used to it. It didn’t even made much differences to my skin apart from leaving it looking red. I will for sure skip this step in future.
Key ingredients: Extracts of Turmeric,Galnut & Sandalwood,Gold leaf,Allantoin.
Directions: Massage it till it gets absorbed in the skin.
It is supposed to accelerate the rhythm of cell renewal and the skin shows new signs of vitality and youth. I can’t say that it instantly made my skin looking younger but i guess it will happen eventually. The consistency is good, light weight and non sticky. It even has those tiny gold particles. It did added some shine and glow to my face.
Key ingredients: Extracts of Walnut,Wheatgerm,Rosepetals,Turmeric & Sandalwood,Gold Oxide,Dimethicone,Vit E &Vit C.
Direction : Apply cream all over the face and neck and massage for 15-20 mins.
It restores the skin’s luster and resistance. It also restores the physiological balance of the skin, bringing youthfulness and radiance. I have combination skin hence I was worried to put this cream on my face. It is again light weight and extremely nourishing. However, massaging for 20 mins gets a little tiring so I just did it for 10 mins.
Overall : Its been a week already and my skin didn’t break out yet. It also made my skin feeling soft and supple. The entire process lasted for 2 hours and my hands are still aching while typing this. It did made a diference to my skin but it just lasted for few days. I would say its good value for money. Nothing compared to what you get in a parlour but its atleast better than nothing. Overall decent product for its price.
Packaging : The packaging is very normal with 4 sachets inside. Nothing great at all. I wished they could have provided small bottles instead of sachets for the storage.
Quantity : I still have half of all the products left for another use.
Price : 175 /- INR
