My Review on The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil:

If you follow my blog, you would know that I was suffering from major acne problem recently. I was looking for anything that would quickly yet effectively take care of my breakouts. My friend suggested me to try out this product and let me tell you, this stuff is fantastic!

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil comes in a tiny, dark green colored bottle with only 10 ml of oil contain. It has a white cap which refused to come out so many times but then I learned that it has to be pressed and twisted to be opened. Silly me! The tiny nozzle helps in saving the oil by dispensing just the correct amount every single time.

The oil itself is in a very light green color and possesses a very strong smell. I found the smell to be quite overwhelming for the first few uses but later I got used to it and in fact, I just love it now. It has only 15% tea tree oil but surprisingly, works better than 100%  Tea Tree Oil on me. Only a drop of oil on a q-tip or finger is enough to be applied on the targeted area.

The oil feels very cold on the skin, just like astringent and causes a mild tingling sensation. If applied on a fresh zits, it may cause  a bit of burning sensation. It gets absorbed in no time without leaving any residue behind. I use it am/pm on my clean face followed by a moisturizer since it does make my skin a bit dry. Last week, I had a monster pimple on my right cheek ans it was as red as a tomato. I applied this magic oil on it and I could actually witness the redness going down and the size of my pimple reduced noticeably.

[box type=”shadow” ]Overall, this is the best 700 Rs. I’ve ever spent! The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil  is like magic in the bottle. If you’re suffering from acne, do give this thing a try. Highly recommend!

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil is priced at Rs. 695 and is available online at www.thebodyshop.in[/box]
