Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil – Review

When I was young, my mother used to run behind me with a blue bottle of hair oil and I use to try my best to escape. I hated hair oils then. Now that I am all grown up, I would pay get my hair oiled and massaged at any salon. There’s nothing more soothing than that. So with regards to my grown up love with hair oil, I am going to review newly launched hair oil by Vatika – Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil.
Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil:
New Dabur vatika Enriched Olive oil with Olives, almond proteins and aloe vera gives extra nourishment, hairfall control and makes hair stronger and bouncy.

My Review on Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil:
Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a green flip cap. The cap fits securely and doesn’t let the oil slick. The transparent bottle is quite sturdy and is also helpful to keep a track of your usage.
The oil is light green in color which is soothing to my eyes. It has a runny consistency which I feel is easier to spread on my tresses and gets absorbed better in my roots. It does feel a little greasy as compared to regular olive oil but I guess it’s due to the inclusion of other oils & herbs. On the contrary, the oil is light weight and doesn’t weigh my hair down.
My major concern is the over the top smell of Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil. I am not fond of products with strong fragrance and this one has a very strong one. It kind of makes my head ache. However, my mother is in love with the fragrance and finds it relaxing.
Apart from that, it is easier to get rid off comes off easily as compared to pure coconut oil. Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil does make my hair feel nourished after the wash. My hair also feels a bit softer and I’ve also noticed a very minor difference in my hair fall. Nothing drastic though!
[box type=”shadow” ]Overall, I feel Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil is a nice change for regular at home ‘Champi.’ It has a goodness of Olive oil with other oil and herbs which has made my hair softer and manageable over the period of time. I haven’t seen any drastic diffrence in my hair fall. Also, the strong smell gets a little overpowering for me.
Dabur Vatika Enriched Olive Hair Oil is priced at 110 INR for 200 ml. [/box]
