My Review :

When I started blogging, I was looking for an affordable makeup brush kit. Renji suggested me to try the Eco Tools brushes but somehow I couldn’t get my hands on them until few months back. Do you remember my buyincoins.com haul ? I spotted them at their website and was suspicious since it didn’t have Ecotools branded anywhere. I thought of going ahead anyway and placed the order. I was relieved + happy when the parcel came to find out that these were the original ecotools brushes.

To start with, I love the fact that Eco Tools use recycled aluminium and bamboo to make their brushes. The 5 piece contains 4 brushes and a pouch to carry them. The brushes are made of bamboo wood and all natural and eco-friendly stuffs. May be that’s why they don’t look very appealing also the pouch isn’t of great quality either  but I am not complaining. They are cheap, travel friendly and I love them.

Concealer Brush :

The concealer brush is like a regular concealer brush. I use to  apply concealer under and eyes and around my mouth. I find it a little big to cover acne and minor spots. It’s also great to pat eyeshadow on my eyes.

Eye Shading Brush :

The blending brush is a bit too big for my small eyes. Its nice and fluffy and I use it to buff concealer around my nose and under and eyes. It works great like that for me.

Overall, I not extremely happy with the Eco Tools Bamboo 5 Piece Brush Set but it’s not bad either. The bristles are soft, the brushes are mini and travel friendly. I would recommend it to beginners to start their brush collection with it. However, it’s not for professionals the handles are too short for application.
