My Review :
Elle 18 Color Pops Lip Color comes in a black plastic packaging with a picture on cap of the lipstick. It is attractive, young and would fit in the smallest of my clutch. I won’t say the same about the quality. The cap doesn’t fit really well and the cover might break if not handled carefully.
The lipstick comes with integrated cocoa cream in the center to moisturize the lips. The texture is smooth, easy to apply and does moisturizes my lips. The pigmentation is sheer in a single swipe and really have to go over a couple of swipes to build some color on my lips. The color, however, doesn’t bleed at all. As you must have noticed from the picture, the lipstick sweats a lot. It is also very fragile and may break from the bottom or melt down.
Rosy Blush is a very pretty and bright color. It is a mixture of pinkish red with a bit of orange. It instantly brightens up my face and I think it will flatter most of the Indian skin tones. The main reason I love this lipstick so much is because of this color. The staying power isn’t great either. It would last hardly for 2 hours and would disappear after the meal. It doesn’t even leave a stain behind.
Overall, I believe Elle 18 being such a humble brand has got a lot to offer. Considering the price, the lipsticks deliver a lot more and it is definitely a steal. They also have some interesting shades you can’t resist. 🙂
Why I like it ?

- Amazing choice of shades to choose from.
- Easy on the pocket.
- Contains moisturizer in the center.
- The color is gorgeous.
Why I didn’t like it ?
- Doesn’t last for more than 2 hours.
- Very fragile.
- Could have been a bit more pigmented.
