My Review :
I am more of a BB Cream person in Summers but I was looking for a bit coverage for a some day function to attend. My search ended on the Lakme Absolute White Intense Skin Cover. I fell in love as soon as I swatch-ed it.
Lakme Absolute White Intense Skin Cover comes in a metallic grey bottle with a pump dispenser. I think the packaging is quite attractive and pump dispenser makes it hygienic to use. I, however think that it should have been a bit transparent to see the quantity left inside. It also has a mild citrus-y smell which disappears in no time.
Lakme Absolute White Intense Skin Cover comes in 3 variants. I am using ’03 Golden Medium’ which looks a little white when applied but adapts to my skin very well in sometime. You can layer up the foundation for more coverage. I just wish they had more shades for all skin types.
The texture is absolutely perfect and blends in seamlessly. I noticed that it emphasize the dryness of my dry – combination skin and have to use a moisturizer beneath. Normal – Oily skin beauties would love this foundation. Its give a Medium to Full coverage and helps to minimize pores and imperfection to a large extent but I still had to use concealer on those stubborn spots.
The finish is natural matte with a natural soft glow which I think its the best part about this foundation. I have tested in during extreme hot climate and it holds its claim very well. It lasted on me for the entire day giving a natural finish. I, however, had to touch up with powder on my T zone after 4 hours. In-spite of giving an amazing coverage and matte finish, it doesn’t look cake-y or ashy unlike other foundations. It also contains SPF 24 which saves the hassle of layering the products.
Overall, I won’t say that its my HG foundation but its an Amazing foundation for summers which can be used everyday.I would definitely recommend it to you’ll.
