L’Oréal Casting Crème Gloss, 316 Plum : Review

I have always have brown hair, so this time I decided to experiment a little with my hair and got the 316 Plum shade. Also my skin is really pale so it will give me some colour.

It claims to last up to 28 shampoos which is pretty decent. It does not contain any ammonia which is a good news for my hair. It is semi permanent hence I am expecting the colour to fade away slowly.

Ok, so the packaging is really attractive. The box is really glossy, I hope it makes my hair the same 😛

This is what you get inside the Box. It contains

  • 1 tube of creme colourant
  • 1 bottle of developer.
  • 1 bottle Nutri-Shine conditioner.
  • Pair of gloves.
  • Instruction leaflet.

Application :

It’s very easy actually, you just need to mix the creme and colourants together.

Apply it all over your hair. Let it stay for 30 mins.

Rinse you  hair with warm water and condition with the provided condition.

Result : I am quite happy with the result. My hair feels softer and has a bit of shine in them. I am also very satisfied with the colour. It has also covered almost all of my hair.

I would definitely use it again and would recommend it to everyone.

Do let me know if you have used this product to colour your hair.

  1. Hi hun, tried this too when my hair was still pure and unbleached, and I gotta say, the colour and shine were astonishing!! It still contains hydrogen peroxide, though; the colour itself lasted for for about 24 washes indeed, but my hair was permanently bleached for a shade or so. Not much, and secretly I liked it; Blondes really have more fun anyways <3 Xxxx

  2. I used this product on my hair last week, my first time colouring my hair so didn’t want anything permanent. I had it in Cherry Red and I love how shiny it made my hair! It has faded a little underneath but it’s pretty even coverage 🙂

  3. I’ll definitely use it again if I do dye my hair again, suppose I will now I’ve done it once!;) I wish they had a brighter red than this though, but I think that’s as bright as it gets aha 🙂

    • Hi ! 6 months gap should be fine to color your hair. However, you can mix a small quantity of the color and apply it behind your ear to do a patch test. 🙂
