My Review on L’Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence UV Protector:

I like the sleek, aqua blue packaging of L’Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence UV Protector. It is simple, light & easy to carry. I also like precise the nozzle which lets me control the amount of product to be dispensed. It has a faint smell which disappears almost immediately after application. All in all, very efficient and travel friendly packaging.

Since it is water based, I was expecting the lotion to be transparent in color. However, the white colored lotion made me worried about the whitish cast which comes along with every sunscreen. After application, I fell in love with it! L’Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence UV Protector is extremely light and blends into my skin seamlessly like water. On top of it, it adds a healthy glow on my face. However, people with oily skin may not be happy with it.

Due to the inclusion of UVA & UVB protection with SPF30 PA+++, it does its job of sun protection really well. I have used it for over a month now and have not noticed any tanning so far. Unfortunately, it doesn’t really help with removing the existing tan nor does it stand on its claim of anti ageing. I am under the harsh, Mumbai sun only while travelling. L’Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence UV Protector does offer me sun protection for over 2 hours outdoors and stays up to 4 hours in an A/C environment.

[box type=”shadow” ]Overall, I think it is a decent sunscreen with an extremely light texture which blends into my skin effortlessly. It also saves me from a horrible whitish cast while protecting my skin from tanning. I love the hydration and luminous glow it provides but people with oily skin might not like it. L’Oreal Paris UV Perfect Aqua Essence UV Protector lasts on me for upto 2 hours outdoors and upto 4 hours in an A/C environment. For me, it has become a Must Have!
