MAC Cosmetics Brush Cleanser has become my staple brush cleanser. It cleans & conditions the brush fibers to make it last longer.

This one product will clean, disinfect and condition the brush fibers so that brushes will last longer. It is convenient to use and is specifically designed to extend the life of high quality brushes. Brush Cleanser leaves your brushes smelling fresh and clean, and helps shorten their drying time.

My Review :

It gets really difficult to attend back to back customers with limited brushes in your kit. Deep cleaning the brush is out of question as it takes ages for them to dry. This is when MAC Cosmetics Brush Cleanser comes handy.

MAC Cosmetics Brush Cleanser is a pink liquid which comes in a transparent plastic bottle. The packaging is simple and handy but it throws out more product than required when leads to a lot of wasting. I pour my brush cleaner in a spray bottle to make it last longer. It also has a mild alcoholic smell which can be a bit bothering to people with sensitive nose.

I read that the best way to use this product is to pour some cleanser on a paper towel and run the brush through multiple times. According to me, a lot of product gets soaked by the paper towel by this method. Instead, I just spray some cleanser on the brush directly, soak it for a minute or two and clean it on  paper towel. This way, it cleanses my brush and make the product last longer.

MAC Cosmetics Brush Cleanser has antibacterial properties which cleans, conditions and disinfect the brush while maintaining the quality of my brushes. The brushes also dry really fast and which allows me to use it on someone again, knowing the brushes are sterilized. Now, as for the cleanser, I came to realize this does not deep clean my brushes. It is best used as spot treatment throughout the week, when lazy. I try to deep clean brushes at the end of every week.

 Overall, MAC Cosmetics Brush Cleanser is the best brush cleanser ever, spot cleanser, anyway. It cleans, conditions and doesn’t damage my brushes. However, I would still prefer baby shampoo + eye makeup remover for deep cleaning my brushes. 🙂
