Max Factor Shimmer Pan Stick 001 – Review & Swatches.

Nothing can beat the natural glowing skin but for those of us who aren’t blessed with it, there is always an Highlighter. 😉 I have used eye shadows and also powder highlighters in the past and Max Factor Shimmer Pan-stick is my first creamy highlighter.

I think the packaging of the stick is very boring but sturdy enough to avoid any breakage. Black stick with a rotate thing at the bottom to roll the product up for use. However, I also find it handy and easy to use. Just a swipe on the area you want to highlight and you are ready to go (Of course ! After blending it with fingers ). 😛 The quantity of the product is A LOT and I don’t think I would need to buy another highlighter for at least 2 years ! And I am not joking. 🙂

The texture of Max Factor Shimmer Pan stick is dense, creamy and doesn’t feel heavy on application. It glides on smoothly and blends very easily too. I prefer to use my fingers since the warmth makes the task easier !  It is also build-able if you are looking for heavy – shimmery look. It has very subtle shimmer which gives my skin a very subtle dewy – glow y look (Refer the swatch above).

Since its creamy, it lasts for good 5 hours on me as compared to the powder highlighters. It is also great for dry skin since its doesn’t emphasize dryness or pores. Best part is that it can be used as a face and body highlighter at once. I have got many compliments about my skin glowing whenever I have used this.

Overall, this is a good highlighter for the subtle glowing look ! I think the availability might be a issue but if you can find it, you’ll love it. 🙂 I have also used it in my looks here & here.

I bought the Max Factor Shimmer Pan Stick from Parcos in Phoenix Market City for around  750. I don’t think its available online in India.
