When Maybelline launched Lip Polish, I thought it would be the same old colorsensational lip gloss with a new name and packaging. Oh boy, I was so wrong ! Maybelline Lip Polish is nothing like they’ve ever had..

My Review on Maybelline Lip Polish ‘Glam 6’ :
Maybelline Lip Polish comes in a pretty transparent tube with a metallic silver cap. At first I thought it is a lipstick and tried to pull the cap like all other lipsticks but nothing came out. Then, I twisted the cap and came out a wand with a gloss in the tube ! Yes ladies, the packaging is deceiving but I like it ! 😛
The texture of Maybelline Lip Polish is smooth, thick and creamy – like a liquid lipstick. The formula is opaque and is extremely pigmented for a lip gloss. The leaf-shaped applicator does makes the application quick and precise. Maybelline Lip Polish is lightweight and helps moisturizer my dry lips due to the addition of concentrated liquid balm.
Glam 6 is a beautiful berry pink with a purple tint to it . Perfect color for fall / winters ! It has a very mild fragrance which can easily be ignored. The finish is glossy and shiny with high color pay off. It stays on for over 5 hours without meals and leaves a soft and even tint behind. Like any other lip gloss, Maybelline Lip Polish feels a little sticky but is not uncomfortable to wear. The only con is that it tends to bleed due to the creamy formula.
Overall, I think Maybelline has hit a jackpot with the new Lip Polish. It is smooth, creamy & super pigmented ! It also comes with a goodness of concentrated liquid balm to protect and nourish your lips. Maybelline Lip Polish is definitely a winner for me.
