When Maybelline asked Ladies Worldwide about one thing that doesn’t last longer, my instant answer was ‘My Lipstick.’ Lipstick is one thing I can’t leave the house without. I also Hate re applying / touching up lipstick every 2 hours and when this darling came, I hoped for a relief. Did it really put an end to the pain of constant touch up’s ?

I loved the packaging of these cute little thing. It makes it a lot easier to be searched and carry around. The 14 hour claim is very alluring as I am a sucker for long lasting lipsticks.

When I first received Wine and Forever, I was a bit scared thinking the shade would be too dark or won’t suit my skin tone but now when I used it, I am glad I tried it out. It is a daring shade but it doesn’t appear the same when applied. It is very wearable and I love the way I can control the intensity of this lipstick.

Maybelline Super Stay 14 Hours Lipstick is definitely a star when to comes to pigmentation. Wine and Forever in particular applies opaque in a single coat and deepens with additional coats. The lipstick is all matte.   The texture is smooth but tends settles into fine lines. These lipsticks have a sweet, fruity scent might be bothersome for those who are sensitive to scented lipsticks.

Beware, these lipstick will make your pouts crying for moisture so make sure you have sealed them with a lip balm underneath. A quick wipe of clear lip gloss on top makes this lipstick feel so much more moisturizing.  Does it last for 14-hours? No, but I still managed to get to the end of the day without any touch ups. I think the darker shades will have the best lasting power because they leave a bit of a stain behind.

Overall, I can’t say I’m impressed with this lipstick, but the fact that it lasts longer than my standard lipstick and  the pigmentation is pretty impressive.
