Pond's Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum - Review

My Review :

The luxurious packaging of the Pond’s Gold Radiance collection is something I really adore. The delicate transparent glass bottle with the see through gold particles makes it look elegant and classy. As much as I heart the packaging of this Golden Lady, the dispenser on the other hand is a PITA.

Pond’s Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum is a clear gel with infused gold particles. I like the sight of the gel with gold particles and happy that it gets absorbed in the skin on application. *Prevents me from looking like a disco ball 😛 .* The gel is watery and feels a little sticky when applied but dries to a matte finish.

I have been using the Pond’s Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum for more than a month now and I have noticed a huge amount of difference in my skin. I like to use it every night before going off to the bed. I have noticed a healthy – radiant glow on my skin which might be due to the gold particles. My skin also feels very soft, supple and firmer with the pore size getting smaller every day. It also lightened the pigmentation and even out my skin tone but did nothing to the dark spots.

Overall, I am extremely pleased with my first anti ageing product and really happy with the results. I won’t mind repurchasing it again but I really eye-ing the L’Oreal youth code once its over. 🙂

Why I liked it ?

  • Luxurious packaging.
  • Texture – Gel with gold particles.
  • Gets absorbed in the skin.
  • Gives a healthy radiant glow.
  • Made my skin soft, supple and firm.
  • Tightens pores.
  • Even skin tone.

Why I didn’t like it ?

  • Pump dispenser is a PITA.
  • Doesn’t work on dark spots.
  • Expensive.

Rating :

Pond’s Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum is priced at 899 INR and can be purchased here.

  1. Dont buy loreal youth code, it has LOT of alcohol !! I went through the agony of using it. On immediate usage the skin feels fab, but on long term it does more harm that good.
This gold radiance one has the same active principle as youth code, niacinamide,… while gold cant really penetrate into the skin and work, niacinamide is a makes it wonderful !

    • Ohhhh ! I had no idea about it. 😮 You actually have a point here Doc.. Which anti ageing cream you suggest ?

      • If you ask me, am always for products containing retinol or AHA (glycolic acid) . Even niacinamide is quite good, this ponds gold serum has that right ! although I dont really know where at the ingredient list does it lie in this product! Try s’thng from pond’s age miracle range once, or even neutrogena fine fairness sounds good to me for starters 🙂 . You can check out my blog for the post I did for top 7 retinol products in India !

        • Hi Doc…could you please provide your blog’s link. I’ve turned 31 today and looking for a good anti-aging cream/serum for preventive measures. Please help!

  2. nice to know tat u like it Hina.. i tried the day cream from this range n the whole pdt only was a PITA for me 😀

the immediate glow was from the suspended gold particles (or glitter?) but when u stop using the cream.. i m back to square one with no signs of improvement in the skin… i hv given up on metals in my personal care 😀

I mean Pond’s Gold Radiance Precious Youth Serum – Review | Indian Makeup and Beauty Blog | Indian Beauty Blog | Indian Makeup Blog | Indian Fashion Blog | Makeup Tutorial | Product Reviews | Swatches | Eye Makeup. is kinda boring. You might peek at Yahoo’s home page
and watch how they create post titles to grab people to click.
You might add a video or a related pic or two to grab readers interested about what you’ve written. Just my opinion, it might make your posts a little livelier.
