REVLON COLORSTAY LONGWEAR NAIL LACQUER ‘FALL MOOD’ – REVIEW & SWATCHES

Revlon claims that the Colorstay line of nail polish lasts up to “11 days of lasting color” with no chipping or fading when used in conjunction with the Revlon base and top coats. 11 days ? Not really ! However, I admire any nail polish which stays on my nails for over 5 days with very minor or no chipping at all and Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Lacquer is definitely among-st them.
Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Lacquer ‘Fall Mood’ :
- ColorStay™ Longwear technology seals nails for up to 11 days* of lasting color and gel-like shine
- Unique double barrel brush allows for smooth, even, precise application.
- Available in 30 gorgeous shades plus a top and base coat.
*The collection comes with its own base coat and top coat that is recommended to be used with the ColorStay polishes to get that long wearing results.

My Review on Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Lacquer ‘Fall Mood’ :
“Fall mood” is a copper/rose gold/bronze-y foil polish which looks different depending on the lights and the angle it is viewed in. Fall mood gets me excited for the fall season just by the name itself. For me, it is a perfect nail color to transit from bright summer colors to bold colors for fall.
I love the formula of Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Lacquer. It is medium thick in consistency and makes the application an absolute dream. I also like the flat brush with tapered end which kinda reminds me of Sally Hansen’s brushes . It is slightly too wide of my pinky finger but nothing unmanageable.
Fall Moos is intensely pigmented and are completely opaque in a single coat but I prefer using two coats to get that flawless and high impact color on my nails. I’ve used the Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Lacquer with and without any top coat and did notice that it lasted longer with a top coat as compared to most other brands I’ve used. It stayed intact on my nail for 5 days and started chipping (very minor) after that. The one thing I dislike about Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Lacquer is that they take a bit longer to dry completely as you increase the coats which is kinda put off.
Overall, I think Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Lacquer in Fall Mood is anything but boring. It is multi-dimensional, long lasting, great value for money & a perfect color for fall. 🙂
The Revlon Colorstay Longwear Nail Enamel is priced at Rs. 350 for 11.7 ml.
