Revlon Photoready Kajal ‘Carbon Cleopatra’ – Review, Swatches & EOTD

MAC Graphblack Technakohl Liner has been a staple in my makeup kit for years until.. I met Revlon Photoready Kajal! I am in love with this duo, especially the brightener and I use it almost everyday. You can check it in my previous Makeup Look here.
Revlon Photoready Kajal ‘Carbon Cleopatra’:
Get multiple on-trend looks with one dual ended pencil. The dark end’s rich color gives you an intense, bold look. The light end brightens and opens up the eyes. Use both ends together for an on-trend, smoldering look. Available in 4 exotic colors with complementary highlighting shades.

My Review on Revlon Photoready Kajal ‘Carbon Cleopatra’:
Revlon Photoready Kajal ‘Carbon Cleopatra’ comes in a standard black cardboard packaging. The wooden pencil divulges into a duo tip with a black cap on one side and an off white cap on the other side. Since it contains two colors, the quantity may seem less. No sharpener is provided in the packaging but works fine with any regular pencil sharpeners too. I somehow still prefer the twist up packaging since a lot of product is wasted due to sharpening.
Carbon Cleopatra is a two-sided pencil with black eyeliner on one end and a highlighter on the other. The black liner is true black and defines my eyes very well. The brightener is gorgeous off white in color and brightens my eyes instantly. The highlighter is multipurpose and can be used on the brow bone and inner corner as well. I love the fact that it doesn’t look stark like a pure white liner and compliments my Indian skin tone. My HG brighter for sure!
Both the colors are much pigmented and offer a solid color within few swipes. The application is a bit stiff but feels creamy & glides on smoothly. Due to its formula, it doesn’t smudge or smear after settling. Revlon Photoready Kajal ‘Carbon Cleopatra’ has a decent wear time of over 7 hours and 5 hours on my waterline and started fading post that time.
[box type=”shadow” ]Overall, I am quite impressed by the Revlon Photoready Kajal ‘Carbon Cleopatra’ and love both the sides to bits! It has become a staple in my makeup kit and I use it every day. It is multipurpose, provides a decent wear time and an affordable price tag. Recommended!
Revlon Photoready Kajal ‘Carbon Cleopatra’ is priced at Rs. 395[/box]
