Today, I am going to review Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick in Fiery Sunset which is a gorgeous,semi-matte orange shade which would most Indian skin tones.

My Review on Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick in Fiery Sunset:

Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick in Fiery Sunset comes in a chic black tube with pretty gold middle. The tube has a secure closure and stays intact in the purse/ bag. The top part of the cap is transparent which is really helpful in locating the shade & adds a nice touch to the overall packaging. However, I find the plastic tube to be really flimsy and not that great quality. Also, just after a week of using, my lipstick has broken from the bottom of the tube.

Fiery Sunset is a gorgeous burnt orange shade with slight red undertones. I find it quite similar to MAC So Chaud just a little less pigmented. If you feel that you can’t wear orange lipstick, then this is the shade you need to try. It is a universally flattering, every orange kinda color and I enjoy wearing it to work too.

Even thought it is a Matte lipstick, it feels quite creamy unlike i-will-dry-out-your-lips kinda matte. It glides on easily and doesn’t dry out my lips. I am disappointed by the formula as it settles into fine lines, fades unevenly and makes my lips feel gritty. Hence, exfoliationg and moisturzing is a must before wearing this lipstick.

It is decently pigmented and a single swipe provides opaque color pay off but I still need multiple swipes to get the exact color as the bullet. It wears for about 5-6 hours on my prepped lips and leaves a soft uneven stain behind. It doesn’t feather, smear or bleed otherwise.
