My Review :
I am a big fan of Rimmel’s Stay Matte Powder and Long Lasting Lipsticks. I thought the mascara wouldn’t disappoint me either. I was so wrong.
Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Mascara comes in a chunky orange tube which is definitely attractive. I quite like bright color and this one really stands out in my vanity. The brush is really HUGE, which makes it a lot little tricky to apply. I wouldn’t mind taking the pain and effort if the outcome is fabulous but this one is just not worth the hassle.
The advertising and claims are far too exaggerating. I have naturally long lashes and even though this mascara lengthens my lashes a bit, it clumps them horribly making them look like spider legs. It doesn’t even hold the curl for more than an hour.
Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Mascara barely gave me any volume or length.
The formula is nice, nor too thick or runny. It goes on smoothly and lasts the entire day without smearing or smudging. Since it’s hardly visible, you might be tempted to apply more coats but then it makes them looks like I have only four, big lashes. . I usually comb through an old mascara brush while its wet to separate my lashes.
I wouldn’t have been so critical of this mascara but then the claims made are too high ! I wouldn’t recommend, it’s just very mediocre.
