When I saw the advertisement on TV with two pretty girls claiming perfect straight hair without any heat, I was skeptical and intrigued too see if I can finally ditch my straightening iron.
Sunsilk never disappoints me with their fun packaging. Sunsilk Perfect Straight Shampoo & Conditioner comes in a bright, glossy purple packaging which would definitely turn heads around. Both, the shampoo and the conditioner comes with a flap top lid.
Sunsilk Perfect Straight shampoo comes in pearl white color while the conditioner looks creamy white. They have the prefect texture, neither too thick or runny which makes them easily to apply and thankfully, they come off really easily too. Both, the shampoo and conditioner has very pleasant fragrance which lingers for quite sometime.
The shampoo lathers really well and leaves my scalp clean with soft, manageable locks. Well, Sunsilk claim that the shampoo alone wouldn’t straighten my hair and have to use the conditioner. So, Shampoo + Conditioner = Starigh hair ? Hmmmmm, not really. I know, it broke my heart and must have put a big grin on my straighter’s face (Only if it was alive). I must appreciate that it really helped with the frizz, flyaway s and smoothness my tresses but it didn’t do what its supposed to. On the other hand, I love the fact that it didn’t effect the volume in-spite of making my hair soft, silky and frizz free.
Do take note, this range wasn’t designed for people with wavy or curly hair. It is meant more for those with already straight hair, without having the need to damage their hair further with heat styling or at least with only minimal heat styling required.
Overall, I am disappointed that I’ll still have to torture my locks with the heating tools but loved my smooth, frizz free tresses. If you are considering this Shampoo and Conditioner for pinned straight hair, think again Ladies !

- No straightening effect on my hair.

I still can’t find conditiner in my city…. I only found shampoo n they can’t work on my hairs….. n I used shampoo my hairs more frizzy n fluffy. ….. I disponted. …
