My Review Tigi Bed Head Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo:

Like I mentioned before, this is my first dry shampoo and hence I wouldn’t be able to compare it with others but let me share some light on this product for you all.

The weather in my city is ALWAYS humid and I’ve to wash my hair every second or third day. After 2 days, my scalp gets greasy and my hair feels heavy and weighed down. I absolutely detest that feeling and it also becomes difficult to style my hair. I was looking for something that would get rid of my greasy scalp in between my hair wahses.

Tigi Bed Head Dry Shampoo comes in a tall, black metal bottle with neon green cap. The bottle is  a bit heavy and not very convenient to travel with. The spray on the bottle works really well and I’ve not faced any issues with it so far. I absolutely love the fresh citrus y scent which lingers in my hair for a while.

As per the direction on the bottle, the dry shampoo has to be sprayed lightly on the roots and hair. I followed the application and I like to rum my fingers through my hair for it to spread properly and then massage the product a bit for it to soak up the oil from my scalp. The dry shampoo when sprayed on my hair looks white in color but fades almost quickly and does leave any residue. This was a part I was really worried about.

Honestly, my hair does look fresh and bouncy and no one could say that it hasn’t been washed for two days. It does absorb the oil from a scalp to an extent and the scent does add on to the overall effect. However, I personally do not get that ‘washed hair’ kinda feeling. Even though my hair looks and smell fresh, my scalp doesn’t feel clean and I still get that heavy head feeling. It also makes my hair look dry and takes off the shine specially on the scalp area.

Tigi Bed Head Dry Shampoo isn’t very long lasting either. The effect fades in a day and I’ve to wash my hair the next day due to the additional dry shampoo on my head. Although, I don’t blame the product entirely and the humid weather does have its own contribution to it. Also, there was not any itchiness or irritation on my scalp because of the product though.

[box type=”shadow” ]Overall, it works very well if you need a quick fix just ‘one more day’ between your hair washes. I personally think it is very handy and will save it for days when I don’t have the time to shampoo my hair. It does the job but the result doesn’t last for more than a day!
